Turns out our A/C had broke and which caused her computer system to overheat so she couldn’t send it out herself
I blame the heat for certain mistakes. It is not my fault that my brain turns to mush when the weather becomes unbearable. For example, I royally messed up today at my job and I fully believe it was because our HVAC system stopped working. About half way through the morning our office starting getting a bit warm. I mean it always seemed a bit tepid to me as I am pregnant and therefore producing twice as much blood as before. Regardless I noticed my co-worker was also starting to feel a bit hot as she took off her sweater. Now we work in a very small space with only one ventilation pointing toward us. Recently, we’d been having issues with the air conditioning and it seemed that today would be one of those days. So with the temperature only getting hotter I try to go on with my day. Unfortunately, and again I blame the heat, I messed up big time and accidentally sent out important information that wasn’t exactly procedure. I was terribly nervous as I walked up to my boss. Right before I could get a word of she stopped me and thanked me for sending the important information out. Turns out our A/C had broke and which caused her computer system to overheat so she couldn’t send it out herself. I thanked her and turned around before she said anything else in fear I may accidentally mention the real reason I sent the information. I guess the heat isn’t all bad and thankfully I still had a job.
