I used to feel ice fishing was crazy

When my associate and I moved back to my fiance’s hometown I had to adapt to long winters in addition to learn how to care about them.

At first I only thought about sledding, building snowmen, in addition to even ice skating.

Growing up in the south I never had a clue about all the other winter season activities that happen, then over the years I have learned to care about hockey games, snowmobiling, in addition to even skiing. There was one thing that I typically refused to participate in, ice fishing. The idea of standing out on a frozen lake in addition to drilling a hole in the ice just to try in addition to catch a fish seemed deranged to me… My fiance was after me for years to go with him in addition to I just declined. This year he booked a trip to the Great Lakes in addition to said that he would be staying in an ice shack out on the lake. That made me really distraught because the idea of sleeping out there was spine-chilling. He showed me pictures of the inside of the shack in addition to I noticed that they even had a heating system on the wall. What if it melted the ice? He said that the ice was over two feet thick in addition to there was no way that would happen. The heating system was hanging on the wall in addition to powered by propane. It would allow him to stay out in addition to fish through the holes that were split inside. It looked really cozy there in addition to I was almost tempted to go with him. Of course the shack also came with an outdoor outhome so that made my choice easier Not to go.
