My bestie and I rent a small condo in Chicago, IL.
For years my associate and I had been trying to buy the venue from our condo owner.
My buddy and I desperately wanted to make the condo ours. The woman is unwilling to sell. I get it. She makes a mint renting out in Chicago, IL. My buddy and I pay top dollar for the location. Now that it has been a few years, I am delighted with my associate and I don’t own the venue. I now know everything that is wrong with it. The floor in the lavatory is shot and needs to be redone. There is a bit of moisture disfigurement on the ceiling. There is a tree in the backyard that is going to fall on the condo someday. Most recently my associate and I have been dealing with an A/C repair. My bestie has called our condo owner numerous times about our Chicago A/C repair. The woman hasn’t done anything about it. I believe she knows my associate and I are moving out soon. So why service the A/C if my associate and I are leaving in the winter? Seems shady to me. My bestie thinks she might have the repair. She thinks our outdoor air compressor to the system is slightly off-center. It is tilted to the side so all the coolant is rushing to one end. That way when the air blows in the system, no refrigerant is getting blown over it. So the air isn’t being called. With a few cement blocks, my bestie thinks she can service it. I legitimately hope that is what our Chicago, IL A/C service is. I don’t want to go a whole summer time without cooling.
