Tomorrow is the last day of February and it is going to start getting warmer soon. The winter began in the middle of October when the temps dropped quickly and that cold rain started, and it has been getting cold ever since. I think though we are finally near the end of it and things will start heating up again. Summer will be here before we know it and I will be out in the sand once again playing my favorite sport, just like I have been for the past 30 or more years. My heating device is going to get a break soon and that means it will be time to clean the HEPA filter for my a/c unit and get it ready for summer. I will contact someone to come out within the next few weeks to take a look at my system and make sure it is all good to go for the hot weather. I haven’t turned on my a/c unit since August of last year and I want to get a cooling tech out here to take a look at it and service it if it needs it so there are no surprises when summer comes. The worst thing is when you turn it on in the middle of June and nothing but warm air blows out. This happened to me before and it took four weeks to get the HVAC worker out because a lot of other people had issues with their a/c systems in their places. This year I will be ahead of the game.
