Tomorrow is June first and I need to start saving some cash for a possible trip in the middle of July.
I will probably go for a week with my bandmate to meet my brother and nephews and I think we may even bring our sound equipment so we can play music in the streets there for cash.
There are some cities where you can play and make $500 in a day when the weather is nice, so we will do that because in July the weather will be really nice. If we play each day for a week, my HVAC tech friend and I can make $3500 and cut back some at the cooling corp for a bit to reward ourselves. We are also kicking around the idea of renting a flat in that city and playing for the whole summer every single day. We could pocket $45K and quit our HVAC specialist jobs and just focus on running our own HVAC company while working on our music. We would like to work part time and spend the rest of the time making new songs. I would like to buy some radiant heated floors with that money and maybe even get a whole new HVAC system for my flat as mine is getting up there in years. I will talk with my friend and decide if we should do this summer trip and just live in the other country while we play every day. It won’t be easy because there’s no climate control system in the streets for cooling us down while we play the local businesses.
