Cheap climate control with a fan

We have entered the gray area with the weather now.

It is the last day of May and the temps are creeping up a bit from where they were last week, but it is still quite comfy with an average high temp of 76F and a low at night of about 62F.

This is the ideal temp for me and I wish it would stay that way, but you can’t contain Mother Nature and she is going to be doing her summer thing soon and sending us warmer days and nights just like she does every other summer before. Heating up in the summer is a given, which means cooling down with a/c is also going to be a given. But for now, my little fan is doing the job just fine and I can probably just use my little fan for another few weeks before it starts getting too hot. The HVAC provider told me that near the end of June they get really busy with air conditioning service calls and repairs. Then the heat will continue till about the middle of September and then we jump off a cliff and the temps will plummet, requiring some heat in the home each morning. I usually run my electric furnace in December and keep running the heating system till the middle of March when it starts to taper off a bit. I will get a power bill soon and am hoping it is really low like the last one I got. My air con system is only running in my bedroom at night, cooling me only because I like sleeping in a cold room.
