I have to admit that I am a bit of a paranoid guy when it comes to dating.
I’ve been through so various poor experiences that I’m consistently anticipating the worst, but people can consistently surprise you in a negative way, that’s what I consistently say.
This is why I try to get to the bottom of my partners’ shortcomings before my buddy and I ever get too involved with each other. When I start seeing somebody modern I am like a moral detective, trying to find out what could possibly be wrong with them before it’s too late. Admittedly, sometimes I can go a bit overboard & start designing psychological tests that might be inhumane, but recently, I honestly wanted to see if my modern guy’s temperament is as cool as he presents himself to be. So, I decided to detach the temperature control & give us a little bit of drama to labor through as a couple. If there was no indoor air temperature control without any warning, would he lose his cool head & have an explosive temperament? It was simple enough to detach the temperature control from the wall & loosen the wires to the furnace & a/c unit. Then, I simply replaced the temperature control & asked my guy if he could adjust the indoor air temperature for me. When he turned the temperature control up & down to try to engage the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment, he was extremely surprised that nothing was happening. Then, he started right outside & started examining the a/c unit. Four hours later, I had to tell him that there was nothing wrong with the Heating & Air Conditioning system so he would stop trying to problemshoot a non existent a/c breakdown. I guess he passed.
