Periodically people entirely baffle me. I don’t know if they are honestly this exhausting at communicating or if they just like to be deceitful by omitting information. However, it seems like everyone in my life enjoys to throw me a curveball here & there when I’m surprised by something that they never told me. This is exactly what happened most recently when my best associate called me up one afternoon & inquired if I would like to take a long road trip with her. She told me that he needed to get across the country in a few nights & he was looking for some business on the ride. I was more than glad to commit to the trip because I cherish spending time seeing modern sights. However, within about 10 minutes of driving I realized that I was in for a much hotter & more difficult drive than I had anticipated. This was blatant as soon as my buddy and I hit the highway & I tried to roll my window up. My associate stopped me & told me that there would be no ventilation if I closed the window next to my face. That’s when he revealed an unfortunate fact. The a/c was broken in his vehicle. She knew that there was no cooling system on board, but never mentioned the lack of the a/c to me. Now, I was stuck in his automobile as my buddy and I traveled through the sweltering hot & humid summer time weather. Without any a/c, it turns out that I do not cherish road trips as much as I thought.
