Changing my 73s home with a new design

Changing my 73s home with a new design

I don’t replace my home genuinely often; In fact, when my spouse and I first moved into our place my pal and I did major replaces, but my friend and I changed the bathrooms, bedrooms, and paint colors.

Now remember this was back in the 73s.

Color was all the rage in a home. I ended up with a pink and yellow bathroom. I also had a lot of bold stone choices and wallpaper. It was amazing when my pal and I moved in. Now in 2024, it looks horrible. I decided that now was finally the time to make some replaces. I called up an interior designer to get some assistance. I knew I needed to do some demo work. I also knew I needed to spend some currency. I got some advice on up-to-date colors and fabrics. I didn’t want my home to look like 2024 though. I wanted something that would last a lifetime, but something classic, fresh and modern. I looked through a catalog and decided on a transitional style that was mainly beige, gray, white, and light yellow. Clean, classic, and pure, but perfect for my house. I had all the floors redone and the walls painted. I had up-to-date lights and hardware put in. My couch got reupholstered along with my chairs. I got all up-to-date cottageets, curtains, and rugs. My home got a major facelift. It was a hectic, time consuming, and lavish project. In the end I am genuinely thrilled that I did it. No more bright colors and tacky wallpaper. No more feeling like I am in the 73s. My home looks like a normal home for the time period. I know if I plan to sell my place it will certainly do well on the market.
