Making due without fireplace at vacation spot

For weeks now, my boyfriend and I have been going back and forth about planning a fun mini vacation next month.

We’ve had difficulties deciding if my buddy and I could both get off toil and figuring out where exactly my buddy and I wanted to go, so our plans were pushed back further and further.

Frankly, neither of us could make the decision to pull the trigger, so my buddy and I became stagnant with our vacation plans. The entire time, my buddy and I spoke only about wanting to rent a lodge in the mountains and rest cozily in front of a appealing fireplace. There’s nothing of that either of us enjoyed more than a appealing view, a toasty warm space, and each other’s supplier. The thought of lounging around together in front of a traditional wood-burning fireplace was all that kept me going last month! Unfortunately, by the time my buddy and I finally committed to our afternoons off and booked the lodge rental, an enormous wood burning fireplace was no longer in the cards. My buddy and I have to settle for a subpar lodge that featured current heating and cooling equipment, rather than traditional fireplaces or wood burning stoves. In fact, the lodge that my buddy and I wound up with had brand new, high tech heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. The heating and cooling system was fully wired to a smart thermostat switch was tied up with the dwelling surveillance system. There were independent temperature controls and every room, and media air cleaners that is fully unaffixed the woodsy stink from the house. I’m still glad that my buddy and I got away, however it wasn’t exactly the rustic situation that my buddy and I were looking for.
