For weeks now, my bestie & I have been going back & forth about planning a fun mini holiday next month.
- We’ve had difficulties deciding if my associate and I could both get off labor & figuring out where exactly my associate and I wanted to go, so our plans were pushed back further & further.
Frankly, neither of us could make the decision to pull the trigger, so my associate and I became stagnant with our holiday plans. The entire time, my associate and I spoke only about wanting to rent a cottage in the mountains & lay cozily in front of a beautiful fireplace. There’s nothing of that either of us appreciated more than a beautiful view, a toasty moderate space, & each other’s supplier. The thought of lounging around together in front of a traditional wood-burning fireplace was all that kept me going last month; Unfortunately, by the time my associate and I finally committed to our afternoons off & booked the cottage rental, an enormous wood burning fireplace was no longer in the cards. We have to settle for a subpar cottage that featured modern heating & cooling equipment, rather than traditional fireplaces or wood burning stoves. In fact, the cottage that my associate and I wound up with had brand new, high tech heating, cooling, & ventilation equipment. The heating & cooling system was fully wired to a smart control machine switch was tied up with the dwelling surveillance system. There were independent temperature controls & every room, & air purification systems that is fully removed the woodsy smell from the house. I’m still glad that my associate and I got away, however it wasn’t exactly the rustic situation that my associate and I were looking for.
