My boyfriend and I can’t wait to move out of this tiny place.
We’ve had a bit of rough luck when it comes to finding space big enough for the two of us.
On top of that we’ve had the worst luck with central air systems. The first place we lived together had barely any space. My boyfriend refuses to give up his beloved king size bed. At first I was fine with it except that it is much too big so whenever we move into a new room it takes up all of the floor space leaving very little for us. To make matters worse the room we first lived in didn’t have any air ventilation so we had no central air getting to us in the room. The next place we lived in was even smaller than the first and while it did have ventilation so we could get a good breeze, the house itself didn’t have an effective heating system so in the winter ever with about five blankets we were still freezing. We did get a chance to move to a bigger room in that house but it also had a giant ceiling fan making the room almost like a tundra. My boyfriend loved it, however, I couldn’t even get a smidge comfortable unless fully clothed and again covered in blankets. We’ve finally found a bit of a middle ground with our most recent place. The air conditioning works well enough that we are comfortable and his bed isn’t covering half the room, but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed we find somewhere even better.
