Keeping husband honest with thermostat notifications

Keeping husband honest with thermostat notifications

He enjoys having the house at a low, semi frigid temperature if he’s home alone.

In the modern day in age, I feel like it’s extremely unrealistic to expect people to be monogamous for 10, 20, or 50 years. There is no reason for people to stay together that long, and there is so much more access to meeting other individuals in our modern world. Whether or not you are out looking for a new partner, it’s difficult not to encounter intriguing individuals. Our world is extremely connected now, so even if you aren’t consistently meeting new people in real life, you’re probably encountering them often online. It’s so simple to meet, hold meaningful conversations, and even conduct secret relationships over the internet these days. That’s why people often ask me if I’m concerned about my husband being faithful. We’ve been together for over 20 years, so I understand why he might be bored. However, I’m quite certain that he’s not up to any shenanigans. I trust him entirely, and besides, I can use our smart thermostat to keep track of him very easily. Everyday when he gets home, he walks to the smart thermostat and turns the air temperature down very low. He enjoys having the house at a low, semi frigid temperature if he’s home alone. Honestly, he keeps the air so cold that there’s no way or another human being could endure his HVAC preferences. If he was going to have company over, I know that he would turn the air temperature back up before trying to entertain a frigid guest. He doesn’t understand why I have notifications set up on my phone for the smart thermostat, and I intend to keep it that way. Our HVAC settings are my marriage protection.
