I have lived in a southern state my whole life.
The rainy season is entirely the most irritating part of the whole state. This is because it can rain for twenty minutes on & off all afternoon however each time the rain picks up again it seems like it could flood the house. My state is also prone to hurricanes, which makes me legitimately grateful for my Heating & A/C provider. The company goes out of their way to ensure that regardless of the weather my friend and I have toiling A/C. See when the rain decides to be sporadic it can leave the outdoor climate muggy & harshly humid. It also usually means that when the rain does finally stop the next afternoon is going to be even hotter than normal. To make sure their clients are never stuck inside a apartment on one of these moderate nights separate from power, my Heating & A/C provider will send employees out while in the end of the storm or in the lul when there is only a little rain to fix or replace any harmd A/C units. I have had them come out twice within the past rainy season & within minutes they have fixed the friend wiring or detached the debris stuck in the fan. I constantly make sure to bring the businesss sweets or sandwiches depending on the time of afternoon, as I know that I am entirely not the only house they have to check on before their shift is up. The rainy season it terribly inconvenient however at least with my local Heating & A/C provider, I know that I will constantly have climate control inside my home.
